The cast in the lead roles include Martin Sheen, Kal Penn, Rajpal Yadav, Mischa Barton, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Fagun Thakrar. The movie was originally slated for a late 2010 release but in a December 2011 interview, Director Ravi Kumar anticipated a 2012 release.
The film received a market screening on 16 May and 19 May at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and will get released in the US on 7 November 2014. According to the latest sources, it will get its worldwide audiences on 5 December 2014.
